Ryan Wurtzel is a law clerk with Willis & Willis, PLC. He earned his J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He graduated with a B.A. in political science from Michigan State University. Prior to that, he was a Dean’s List student at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, earning college credit during high school.

While at Cooley, Ryan earned a certificate of merit in his pre-trial skills course. His professional work experience includes construction litigation and underground excavation issues; environmental law; civil litigation and criminal law.

Ryan is a member of the American Bar Association, the Kalamazoo Chapter of the Young Lawyers and the Michigan State University Alumni Association. He also belongs to the Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce Environmental Committee, Ducks Unlimited, the Kalamazoo Rod & Gun Club and the National Rifle Association.

Ryan lives in Scotts and is a parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena in Portage. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.
